Was I Ever Truly Here

$5,000.00
Sold Out

Created with over 400’ of steel rod, Was I Ever Truly Here is both an anatomical study of the body and a reflection of disposition. The thin rod is welded together to mimic muscular patterns, creating pockets of tension and energy throughout the piece. The partial form implies the form of a full body while remaining disconnected by space. The incomplete depiction begs the viewer to question our notions of reality and it’s connection to our perception of existence.

The piece comes in two parts, each leg is connected to an arm and they sit side by side with a small gap of space between them. She best fits on a 17” platform (Bench, chair, pedestal, etc.). Pedestal pictured not included.
