The Chameleon, May 2022

This 24” x 24” acrylic painting uses natural patterns to disguise the female form, camouflaging her to the background. The different skins, furs, and textures symbolize the different personas we wear in our lifetime. We assume these roles to adapt to our surroundings, yet never fully identify with them.
